While "idling" may be alright in some pre-race cases, you've got to shift into overdrive and gear up for the annual charity race sponsored by SkyWest Airlines, Dixie State College, and the City of St. George to benefit the United Way Dixie. Mini Indy takes place annually, during the second weekend of March, and the 2007 event promises to be more exciting than ever with returning champions, new vendors, and opportunities galore for networking (although, we all know why you really come!) Everyone wants the coveted checkered flag, but only “time” will tell.

The proceeds from the Mini Indy Golf Tournament will help fund the SkyWest Scholarship Program. Additionally, teams are invited to bring and display Mini Indy Trophies won from past years at the Pre-Race Banquet (yes, even the Pity Award is included). And of course the silent auction at the banquet always comes with surprises (2003's motorcycle for a somewhat unlikely candidate). 100% of the money raised will go to the United Way Dixie, so plan ahead. >> View 2006 Contribution

Mini Indy brings together teams from international & local businesses, community leaders and various civic groups to race miniature Indy-style cars through a twisting course. Funds raised from this event helps support the United Way. The United Way - Dixie helps hundreds of local people every day by funding non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organizations. The United Way - Dixie solicits local funding from employee donations, matching corporate contributions and events such as the Indy Race.
